Halo 3: Mythic Update
So as you may read below, some screen shots of a Halo 3: Mythic emerged from PAX '08. People were buzzing with not much to go by beyond that it is 1.2 as oppose to the current 1.1 version. Then this week people how found out that there will be 30 new Halo 3 achievments coming so most gaming news outlets are assuming that they are the same update. More info when available!

Bungie has confirmed that the "Mythic" Halo 3 was just there to play Assembly, and in September, Halo 3 was updated to 1.2! :-]
